How to make animation effects to text or object ( pictures, shapes, SmartArt, and more) in your presentation
Step 1:
Step 4 (option)
You may need to set value for some attributes:
Start: One Click / With Previous / After Previous
Duration: Auto / specify length of an animation (number of seconds)
Delay: Play animation after certain number of seconds
Open Animation Pane if it is not. In order to open Animation Pane, click on Animations and then Animation Pane.
Step 2: Select the object or text on the slide that you want to animate.
Step 3: On the Animations tab, click Add Animation, and pick an animation effect in Entrance or Emphasis or Exit or Motion Paths.
Notes: There are four different types of animation effects in PowerPoint 2013:
Entrance effects. For example, you can make an object fade gradually into focus, fly onto the slide from an edge, or bounce into view.
Exit effects. These effects include making an object fly off of the slide, disappear from view, or spiral off of the slide.
Emphasis effects. Examples include making an object shrink or grow in size, change color, or spin on its center.
Motion Paths. You can use these effects to make an object move up or down, left or right, or in a star or circular pattern (among other effects). You also can draw your own motion path.

Chicken Pad Thai

Step 1:Prepare the noodles following packet directions. Drain
Step 2:
Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a wok over high heat until just smoking. Stir-fry half the chicken for 3 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining chicken.
Step 3:
Heat remaining oil in the wok over medium heat. Stir-fry carrot and shallot for 1 minute. Add snow peas and pad Thai paste. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until vegetables are tender crisp. Make a well in the centre. Add egg. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until egg is almost cooked. Add noodles and chicken. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until combined. Top with the bean sprouts, coriander and peanuts.

Play music during presentation in powerpoint 2010/2013

Open your powerpoint file

Click on a
slide where you want to start music

Click on Insert
tab
-
click Audio, and then click Audio on my PC

Locate and
double-click the music file.

Click on
this icon, Playback tab will appear
- If you are using Powerpoint 2013, on the Playback tab, click Play in Background
If you are using Powerpoint 2010, your screen does not have Play in Background so you need to check on some properties like the below picture:
TIP: If your music is from an online website, download it to your computer’s hard drive first. The supported audio file formats are AU Audio file (.au), MP3 Audio file (.mp3), Advanced Audio Coding - MPEG-4 Audio file (.m4a, .mp4), Windows Audio file (.wav), Windows Media Audio file (.wma)

Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- 2 x 35cm baguettes
- 150g butter, softened
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
Method
- Step 1Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Cut bread into 2.5cm-thick slices (don’t cut all the way through).
- Step 2Combine butter, garlic, parsley and chives in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Spread over cut sides of bread. Wrap each baguette in foil.
- Step 3Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until butter is melted and bread crisp. Serve.

Baked Bean, Sausage & Cheese Bake
Prep time: 15 mins Cook time: 30 mins
Servings : 4
Ingredients
- 1½ cups spiral pasta, cooked following packet directions
- 420g can baked beans
- 6 (450g) cooked Aussie Beef Thin Sausages
- 575g jar Leggo’s Pasta Bake - Creamy Tomato & Mozzarella
- ¾ cup grated tasty cheese
- Fresh herbs, for garnish
Directions:
1. Drain pasta and return to hot saucepan. Combine cooked spiral pasta, baked beans, cooked sliced sausages and Leggo’s Pasta Bake - Creamy Tomato & Mozzarella in the saucepan.
2. Spoon into an 8 cup oven-proof shallow casserole dish. Sprinkle with grated tasty cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes. Garnish with fresh herb leaves.
TIP: 400g pan-fried chicken or beef mince can be substituted for the sausages.
